    If your pond is a square sided flat bottomed pond

    it would hold

    10x15x3 = 450 x 7.48 = 3366 gallons

    Or

    10 x 20 x 3 = 600 x 7.48 = 4488 gallons

    BUT since no pond is a flat bottom square especially an aquascapes pond with the shelves, curves and all the rock you can cut that depth in half and be somewhat close.

    So

    10x15x1.5 = 225 x 7.48 =1683 gallons

    If the cleaners metered the water back in then that 1500 would be accurate

    Did they meter the water back in? If not next time have them meter it to see the true reading.

    Ponds usually hold a lot less water than people think they do. The only exception is ponds with extensive bogs (I have two). This is why so many people who DON'T meter their water end up overdosing with algaecides and other pharmas.
